We’ve just wrapped up day three at IMEX America 2026 in Las Vegas, and we’re soaking our feet, digesting everything we’ve learned, and talking about which incredible destinations we want to share with you in 2027!

FoodFamilyTravel.com® was invited to attend one of the world’s leading trade shows for the meetings, conferences, events and incentive travel industries. Beyond the business of bringing people together, IMEX offers a valuable window into the broader global tourism economy. The destinations companies choose for conferences and corporate gatherings often reflect larger travel trends, influencing everything from hotel demand and airline routes to the places and experiences attracting leisure travelers. Connecting with tourism boards, destination representatives and travel professionals from across the United States and around the world gave us a firsthand look at what’s next.

For the first time, we brought those conversations directly to television audiences, broadcasting from the IMEX show floor for ABC and CBS stations, including CBS in St. Louis, sharing insights and emerging travel trends as they unfolded.

From the growing interest in ancestry travel, longevity, and wellness to cooler-weather escapes, foodie paradises, and destinations beyond the usual tourist trail, we came away with plenty to share with you all and the rest of our broadcast partners around the world.

We’re excited to bring you our complete IMEX America 2026 travel trends report in the coming days, featuring insights from the people and destinations shaping the future of travel.

Stay tuned!

In the meantime, here’s our story from the floor at IMEX for ABC & CBS St. Louis:
