Description: Universal Studios Hollywood is a combo world-famous film and television studio and theme park that promises a look into the world of filmmaking. Visitors can take the Studio Tour, which takes them behind the scenes of famous movie sets and soundstages, including oldies but goodies like the parting of the Red Sea from The Ten Commandments, Jaws, and Psycho. The park also has exciting rides based on popular movies and TV shows, like Jurassic Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (a family fave), and Transformers: The Ride.
Deals: The bad news is... Universal is among the more expensive theme parks. The good news is you can still find good deals for Universal Studios tickets. Universal often has deals listed directly on their website HERE
You can also find Universal Studios deals on sites like Undercover Tourist HERE
T-Mobile Tuesday app also offers some good Universal Studios deals (users say it can be up to 20% off!)
Keep an eye out for member deals for Universal Studios at AAA or Costco
Tips and Hacks: I'm always looking for deals and ways to save money on our theme park visits. As of 2023, you can bring up to 2 liters of water into the park AND small snacks! Do it. The sun bakes at nearly all theme parks, and with a lot of walking, riding, and playing, you don't want to spend the extra cash on drinks when you can bring water in. Make sure you have snacks for little ones so you can focus on the food you REALLY want and not spend spend spend on snacks you can find cheaper before you go. The following is from the Universal website (as of November 2023- always check their website directly before you go)
