Emily Simpson
Travel and Fine Dining Correspondent
Emily Simpson is a fine dining, travel, and arts enthusiast. Growing up in San Francisco, she never said no to any opportunity to try exotic foods, or to go on adventures. Over the years, her tastes have refined, but she still has a soft spot for the local dive bar or diner. A big fan of wine tasting and spa days, she can tell you where to belly up for the biggest cabernets or which spa has the best aromatherapy. She loves to travel to tropical islands and enjoy a mai tai…or three…and knows where to get the best ones!
To subsidize her travel and fine dining addiction, Emily is the office manager and bookkeeper at a boutique law firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. She tries to expand her fellow employees outlook on lunch options, but they won’t budge from their ham and cheese sandwiches and salads.
Emily has a true passion for theater and has performed around Northern California in shows such as Noises Off, 42nd Street, You Can’t Take It With You, Kinky Boots, and Cinderella. In addition to being on stage, she has choreographed and directed many shows in the Bay Area. She takes great pride in bringing the joy she has for performing to those that she teaches, and always makes sure to throw some iconic moves into every show.
Emily cannot wait to share her love of fine dining and travel with all of you!
